SOMERVILLE HOMELESS COALITION
Working to put ourselves out of business for 25 years
Day 6: FINISHED!!!
posted Aug 11, 2010 10:44 PM by Anand Singh

Today the runners made it all the way to the end of their route at the aquarium in Boston. They walked for the first part
and finished by running the final 8 miles through Cambridge, Somerville, and Boston. Friends, family and other supporters
joined the trekkers at Davis square after they had covered the Minuteman Bike Path. Some ran and biked along with them.
The boys sealed their finish by dunking their feet in the waters of Boston Harbor. Their parents and Mark Alston-Follonsbee,
the head of the Somerville Homeless Coalition, came to greet them and took many pictures to commemorate their
accomplishment. The runners were overjoyed to have completed their adventure and be able to go home.

Cash or checks (tax deductible) payable to Somerville Homeless Coalition (www.shcinc.org) and reference "The Trek."
Donations per mile (approx. 80) are also accepted and encouraged.
