VOLUNTEER Organized in 1986, the volunteer program has been a critical part of SHC. We work with over 2,000 volunteers and they are vital resources to our organization’s success. Many of our volunteers work with our Project SOUP staff promoting food drives and serving meals to our clients. Volunteers also tutor, mentor, or coordinate our yearly fundraising events. Volunteers are very important to the successful operations of our organization and we welcome anyone who is interested in working with us.
