Somerville Homeless Coalition - Collaborators Over 20 years of providing services, resources, support & housing to help transform lives. |
We have built ties with local realtors, landlords, bankers, and others in the housing arena to further our work in creating more housing for our client. With these collaborations, we seek to create a flexible rental fund, add housing experts to our board of directors, and open doors for new housing opportunities for homeless and low-income families and individuals. |
We also collaborate with a number of organizations including: City of Somerville CASPAR (Cambridge/Somerville Program for Drug & Alcohol Rehab) Catholic Charities Calvary Church, United Methodist Respond Social Security Administration Somerville Housing Authority Department of Mental Health Somerville Mental Health (SMH) Cambridge and Somerville Legal Services (CASLS) Community Action Agency of Somerville (CASS) Somerville Community Corporation (SCC) Horizons for Homeless Children (formerly Horizons Initiative) Cambridge Health Alliance Somerville Public School system Family-to-Family Program Department of Social Services Families First YMCAs of Somerville and Cambridge |
As members of state advocacy networks, we actively participate with Massachusetts Housing & Shelter Alliance (MHSA), Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless (MCH) and Homes for Families.
